Muslims in the House - Sept 23 - Oct 2, 2020

What started off as just an extension of March Break, turned out to become the most challenging few months for all Canadians - young and old. It is important to address that the greatest challenge is that as of right now, as the world has slowly begun to reopen in spite of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we need to continue to maintain our physical distance and follow provincial guidelines. The situation is fluid, as it’s currently underway into its second wave, Ontario is reporting an approximate daily increase of 600 new cases. Medical experts believe these numbers will grow in the coming flu season. We pray for your safety and ask you to do the same. 

This week, Muslims in the House covers events for the week ending October 2nd. We touch on foreign affairs, specifically relating to the Uyghurs, Orange Shirt Day, COVID-19 vaccines, and the economy.
